Who this notice is for
This notice explains how Musou Digital handles information collected through musoudigital.com. For privacy questions or requests about your information, email trich@musoudigital.com or call 071 603 4369.
Information collected
When you send an enquiry, the form collects your name, email address, selected service and message. Information you choose to send directly by email or phone forms part of that conversation.
The hosting and security services supporting the website may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times and browser information to deliver pages, identify abuse and investigate faults.
Why the information is used
Enquiry information is used to respond to your request, discuss possible work and manage any resulting business relationship. Supplying an enquiry is voluntary. The form requires a name, valid email, service selection and message so that the request can be understood and answered; without them it cannot be submitted. You can contact Musou directly instead.
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list. The website does not sell enquiry information or use the form to sign visitors up for advertising.
How an enquiry is handled
The form sends the enquiry through the website’s mail service to Musou’s enquiry inbox. It does not create a public comment or visitor account. Short-lived, keyed checks help limit repeated or abusive submissions without publishing your message.
Website hosting, email, security and backup providers may process information as part of supplying those services. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or to deal with a lawful request.
Storage and retention
Enquiry correspondence may be retained in the receiving mailbox and relevant backups. Retention depends on the enquiry, any subsequent project and applicable record-keeping requirements. You can ask what information is held about you and request correction or deletion, subject to any lawful reason to retain it. A copy in a routine backup may remain until that backup is replaced.
Hosting, email or backup services may involve processing outside South Africa. Contact Musou for details of the current providers, locations and arrangements relevant to your information.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses cookies or local browser storage to remember essential display, navigation and privacy choices. Authorised WordPress administrators also use login and session cookies. The public website currently has no optional analytics or advertising tracking configured.
You can open Cookie preferences from the footer or Menu, and manage browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent settings from being remembered. If optional tracking is introduced, the notice and available choices will be updated before that tracking is enabled.
Security
The site uses HTTPS and technical controls intended to protect the enquiry form and website. No website, email system or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please keep passwords, payment details, identity documents and other sensitive information out of a general enquiry.
Your choices and rights
You may contact Musou to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate information, object to processing where applicable, or request deletion where there is no lawful reason to retain it. Identity may need to be checked before a request is fulfilled; any applicable legal limits will be explained.
You may also raise a concern with South Africa’s Information Regulator, whose published enquiry number is 010 023 5200.
Other websites and changes
Portfolio links may take you to websites operated by other organisations. Their own privacy notices apply when you use those sites. This notice may change as Musou’s website or information handling changes; the date above identifies this version.
